Lincoln Avenue

Work Completed for Week 6: July 21 - July 25

• The contractor completed all removals of defective concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter on Lincoln Avenue.

• The contractor completed all removals of defective concrete on Wilson Street between Lincoln Avenue and Van Buren Street.

• The contractor completed the placement of most new concrete on Lincoln Avenue.

Work Anticipated for Week 7: July 28 - August 1

• The contractor will complete all remaining concrete on Lincoln Avenue.

• The contractor will complete all new concrete on Wilson Street.

• Contractor is scheduled to complete turf restoration on Lincoln Avenue and Wilson Street following completion of concrete work.

• Traffic will not be allowed on new concrete until adequate strength is reached..

Upcoming Work

• The City of Stoughton will complete the pulverization of the remaining asphalt pavement on Lincoln Avenue during the week of August 4th.  The contractor will then grade, roll, and prepare the material for paving.

   

Traffic Control

• Lincoln Avenue is closed to through traffic, but open to local traffic.

• The west side of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Marie Drive is closed to traffic.  Church related traffic is allowed to use the school entrance at Greig Trail.

• Wilson Street is closed to through traffic.
