Work Completed for Week 2: September 8 - September 12

• The contractor completed removal of all defective concrete sidewalk, driveway, and curb and gutter and prepared for placement of new concrete.

• The concrete formed and poured all curb and gutter replacement and completed most other concrete replacements.

• The contractor formed and poured a concrete valley gutter at the intersection of Mellum Drive and Christensen Way. The intersection will remain closed until adequate concrete strength is reached.

Work Anticipated for Week 3: September 15 - September 19

• The City of Stoughton will use its equipment and staff to pulverize the remaining asphalt pavement on Monday September 15th. The City will continue working on rough grading and removal of excess pulverized material by mid-week, followed by fine grading.

• The contractor will finish all remaining concrete replacements on Tuesday September 16th.

Upcoming Work

• Following fine grading of the pulverized material by the City, the contractor will adjust all manholes to the new pavement elevation.

• Grass restoration will be completed by the contractor prior to paving.

• All paving is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Traffic Control

• Mellum Drive and Christensen Way are closed to through traffic, but remain open to local traffic.
